35 oz M (medium weight magnet), 55hz bass response, 12 inch special design aged cone, small dust cap with vintage correct doping, spider, and voice coil tolerances. A close recreation of the 444 bass cone, with the more aggressive lower & upper midrange and sharper highs this speaker produced. This speaker is very similar to the tone produced in the checkerboard cloth Marshall cabs of the mid to late 70's. These speakers differ from my pre rola speakers by having a more aggressive midrange tone, with a bit more upper mids, and not quite as dark as M55's. Awesome for players who want a bit more bite. 25 watt (BM55-8 or 16), 65 watt (BM55-8HP or 16HP) & 100 watt (BM55-8XHP or 16XHP) power handling, 97db, 8 or 16 ohm versions available.
12-1/8" (30.79 cm) diameter, 5-1/8" (13.01 cm) deep, 7.5 lb (3.40 Kg). New Spec Sheet Available Soon. in pdf formal.
*FBI: Full Break-In of your speakers is only $15 per speaker. This extra service takes 20 hours per speaker on a variac. The speaker sounds like you played it for 60 hours at stage levels when finished, saving you the trouble of annoying your neighbors, wife, kids and police visits! |

Aggressive, detailed midrange enhanced guitar speaker with cutting overdrive and distortion tones that have more bite than the M75 series. Great sound right out of the box due to factory aging, design and break-in procedures. This is a superb tone and sound recreation of the G12M mid 70's era "Blackback" that was used in Marshall stacks and combos, and many other British amps of the era such as Vox, Orange, Sound City, etc. 25 watt (BM75-8 or 16), 65 watt (BM75-8HP or 16HP) & 100 watt (BM75-8XHP or 16XHP) power handling, 97db, 8 or 16 ohm versions available.

Same speaker as the BM75, but with a large dust cap. The large dust cap smoothes out (rolls off) the highs, and makes the treble silkier on the top end, and adds a bit more bass response, right between the BM75 and BM55 models. The large dust cap model is similar in tone to a G12-65, but with a more aggressive upper midrange response. It also handles higher gain better than small dust cap speakers, making it great for hard rock, and 80's hair band styles. Available in 25 watt (BM75-8 or 16-LHDC), 65 watt (BM75-8HP-LHDC or 16HP-LHDC) & 100 watt power handling (BM75-8XHP-LHDC or 16XHP-LHDC), 97db, 8 or 16 ohm versions available.
